You know, Dreammine, that theory is actually true... In ratio terms, 3:1 for every P3 sold in South Korea and P3 sold outside South Korea...

Even if you are a foreigner who bought a P3 in South Korea, the statistics still counts as "P3 bought in South Korea."
Last time I checked some surveys: out of all the P3s bought within South Korean borders, 9% were bought by foreigners...

so basically, my friend and I are like the only two people on the East Coast of the US with P3s

It's sad really, if they would have done some marketing in the America's, I'm sure sales would have been better.

There literally was zero marketing done by Samsung.

The only people who knew about the P3 were gadget website readers and previous Samsung PMP users who were looking forward to the P3.

How can Samsung expect sales when they don't tell the mainstream crowd about their products aka Mainstream Marketing!

It almost seems like the impression is it's everyone else's fault other than Samsung that the sales suck outside of Korea.

I feel the same way but it's a good feeling inside of itself. No one I know in the US has ever heard of this thing and they love it once playing with it. The lack of internet and powerful interactive apps is a bummer but who doesn't have an ipod touch these days ya know?
