Sony S544 not recognizing release years.

Hello! I used Media Monkey to organize all of my music files, and according to MM and WMP they're all right. However, my new Sony Walkman S544 is listing the release date of all of my songs as "Unknown". It's also not showing all of my cover art, even thought it's visible in MM and WMP. What's the solution to this? Thanks!

For the cover art just use something like Mp3tag to embed the album art to each song.

The unknown year problem...Well that depends on how your getting your music on your DAP. Syncing with something like WMP should get the year to show up.

I just drag and drop via Explorer.

There's your problem, the Walkmans for one reason or another don't seem to see the year when using drag 'n' drop. Just use a media player like WMP to sync and it should show up.

If you're already using Media Monkey to organise your files, then you may as well use that to sync with your walkman.
