This really helped improve touch performance. Thanks.

Nice, indeed more responsive.
However, it still crashes for me on library update, so I can only listen to my music via the browser. :-( I feel like returning the device, this is quite annoying. |

The library update is when it reindexes the files stored on the player. It crashes for me every time I try this - either manually, or when it automatically tries to index the files after I disconnect from my PC.
Apparently it doesn't like some meta-data (at least that is my best guess), but all files check out fine on the PC, and for sure I can't find out which of the 32GB I stored on the player is having problems. It crashes ~3% into the process, so I'd be surprised if it was just one file ... It doesn't crash on anything else, but basically this means I can only listen to music using the file browser, the album/artist selections don't work. It doesn't need a reset hole - first, doing this, it auto-reboots since it detects that it has crashed; second, one can simply hold down the power button for 10s to make it reboot. |

just tested it, i don`t like this 1.10 version, i think 1.08 is more stable.
with 1.10 ; - i experience 1x hang/freeze in 3 min after update it (i had never experienced any hang/freeze with 1.08) - over-sensitive touch , its make me hard to slide-down when choosing a music, always "enter" - sometimes touch become disable, and i need to go back using back button then re-enter again to make it work properly again, usually i experience this in Setting mode maybe it`s faster, but not as stable as 1.08 is there any way to go back to older version of firmware?? maybe do a same method??

I don't think 1.10 is so bad... For example 1.xx firmwares for p3 were very bad with a lot of problems (freezing for example). I think 1.10 is a bit more faster than p3. The only bug I found was with FLAC tagging...

I received M1 last week and I've used it a lot... I put in a lot of songs (10GB + 5GB videos). I didn't experience any crash. All is ok... I'm very happy with it. I owned also a p3. The only advantage of the p3 is with FLAC tagging (where the M1 is quite buggy... I think it will be fixed for next firmwares). If you can afford it go for the M1 primarly for sound quality (more clean highs and basses - less midbass then p3), overall speed (with firmware 1.10), style (the device is all metal / glass no plastic as the front of p3), the amoled screen (bigger and better than p3) and the microsd to expand memory if you need more.

My m1 crashes from time to time when trying to connect to my cell phone via Bluetooth. But normally while listening to music or watching films there's no crashing. (I have like 15gb music, maybe 2gb films so its just about half-full) I'll write today or tomorrow a summary of what i dislike about the m1 and could be fixed easily(like renaming txt files. what currently isn't possible). Overall I'm extremely happy about the m1 and worth its money but there are little things samsung should change to make it even better. Cheers (: |

I appreciate your help. I went to Lotte Mart this evening to ask about how to find Samsung's M1 data casting support sight. They told me to go to the service centre and ask for an engineer. Hmph.
I bought it at an Anycall store. I'll go back there and ask the manager for information, which I'll happily share. |
