Transfer songs back to computer from Zen?

So my computer's hard drive crashed the other day, so I ordered a new one. Can I transfer all the data on my Zen back to the computer or will it syncand delete stuff on the Zen?

I've actually done this. None of the mp3s themselves are altered when you put them on the player, as far as I know. I only use WMP to put stuff ON the player. I just use Windows Explorer to get them off. I dunno about transferring files FROM the player to a computer through WMP, though.

You can simply use Windows Explorer to copy your music from the player to your computer.

Which version of Windows Media Player are you using??

Hi, i own a Creative Zen Touch and i have just figured out how to transfer your music from your zen to your PC. Open Creative MediaSource 5 and on the right side you should see something that says transfer right next to your track list.


You can now select a place to store all your music on your pc.
