well i have to questions okay.....

first of all at random times when the p3 screen is off when listening to music, i tap the screen to turn it on, then either i won't respond or the screen freezes for like 10 seconds

also if anyone has emodio with the english USA TTS voices in them can they upload me the whole folder from where they're located.
c:/program files/samsung/emodio & voices installed(i think)......... for XP,vista, or seven(have all 3)

Yea that might help. Before you do, try reinstalling the firmware.

Man Electron, yer just bordering on threatening lately. What's up with the semi elitist mentality you seem to be portraying lately? In my opinion, yer coming across rather harsh as of late. We mustn't forget, not everyone is old school with the player yet, nor is everyone over the age of 30, or 20 or even 15 for that matter. Nor is everyone that comes here fluent in english. We really must keep an open mind when reading other's posts and try our best to help not repirmand.

I don't see why there should be a problem with someone kindly asking for help even though it doesn't indicate with what. A little guidance and direction goes a lot further than iron fist ruling.

I actually agree w/ electron. More descriptive titles will enable us to help others better...

But back to the OP's problem, I second the reformat idea. However, before you do so, be sure to back up all of your files, so that you don't lose any important data (like recordings and notes and such)!

Yeah, I wasn't disagreeing with the idea of suggesting more descriptive titles. I was pointing out the method of informing the OP could have been better. Thus my last statement, "A little guidance and direction........." Instead of rude, incosiderate and hateful comments or actions.

@OP: Another thing you may want to look into is checking out the tags on your music. Some obscure ID3 tags cause players and cell phones issues. I recall another user having a freak reboot problem and it had to do with some obscure tags on some of their files.

If you get dbPowerAmp reference version and let it intergrate into windows shell..... You then can mass edit mp3 ID3 tags by highlighting a bunch of files and choosing edit tags from the right click menu.

You may be surprised at the crap attached to mp3 files. No guarantee that this is your problem, but it might be. *shrug*

anyway, jms, I would not recomend using Emodio for anything. Emodio crashes a lot, and is hard to uninstall.

I didn't realize bad/obscure ID3 tags could cause such a problem >.>
