I just received this player and transferred a few albums to it using drag and drop (I'm on a mac). The albums are full, have the tracks named as:
01 track name 02 track name etc. but the player seems to ignore both the metadata within the mp3's which have the track number but also removes the number from the beginning of the file name. Why would I want to put an album on and listen to the tracks in alphabetical order? Is there a way to play an album in it's correct number? Seems very strange. *Edit: Just tried changing the metadata for an album so the track name includes 01, 02 etc. So now the file name is 01 01 track name. This works but going through my entire library doing that is going to be ridiculous, can it not read the track number from anywhere else? Cheers Matt Last edited by froj; 12-31-2009 at 10:49 AM. |

Maybe it's a Mac thing.....because I don't have that issue with Windows 7.
