Help sansa won't boot!

I have a sansa e260, with the memory [hard drive] of a e280R. So after installing rockbox, I deleted "OF.bin," big mistake... so I try to install rockbox 3.4, and it says to reinstall original firmware. So I go into recovery mode, and copy PP502.mi4, and unplug. Now, it says "Load main image failed
switch to recovery mode" I tried the e200 and e250r .mi4's from here , no success. I really appreciate any help. Here is my "VERSION.txt" from the 16MB recovery partition: Version Info: Product Rev.: PP5022AF-05.51-S301-00.12-S301.00.12A-D
Base Code: 05.51-S301-00.12-S301.00.12A-D
ODM Ver.: S301-00.12-S301.00.12A-D
OEM Ver.: S301.00.12A-D
Build Type: -D
Build Date: 2006.03.29
Build Number: (Build 169.20)

If you can show me what .mi4 to use, I'd reall appreciate it. Or if there's a way to reinstall the rockbox firmware, as version 3.3 has USB support, maybe from there I could use sansa's firmware updater?? Thanks!

~Matt

edit: Actually reinstalling the rockbox bootloader wouldn't work because I placed a sansa.fmt into the recovery partition, and it formatted.

bump

When you downloaded the RB firmware, did you have to use the rockbox utility or Sansapatcher to install it? I'm looking for a way to install the RB bootloader without admin rights.

I'm trying to think.... it's been a lil while... I think, though, I used the sansapatcher. The e200R firmware was the only kind it would not say "Load Main Image Failed. Use Recovery Mode." So I had to stick with that. [which is okay cuz I never use OF anyhow]. So after I got it working It was back to a regular e200R sansa.... I tried the sansapatcher, I think it was from linux IIRC, and it said "Already Unlocked." I thought it would need to be patched again since I redid the firmware, but I guess not. If you don't have admin rights, just borrow a computer that has admin rights without a password. If all else fails, just download Ubuntu, boot into the live CD and use "sudo." There is no password required for root [`admin` to put it in windows terms] access.

Well now, I heard, if you boot up in safe mode [F8 while starting or something], it gives you an admin account without logging in. I never got around to trying it, if you do try it, tell me if it really is true. thanks
