I bought the V Moda Vibe II set of earbuds/headset. Some people really hate this company because of problems they've experienced but I owned a set of original Vibes that lasted over 2 years until I washed them in a pair of pants.
![]() The problem I'm having with the Vibe II is that when it is plugged into my Creative Zen Vision:M , the sound is airy and awful - lacking any bass or high end. If I hold the built-in button (which is used on the iPhone for switching between voice and music functions) the sound is fine. If I release the button the sound goes back to terrible. I searched all over the net for a solution and found 1 or 2 mentions about the same problem. It seems it is not due to a defective product, just that the zen can't interpret the button the way it should. The solution? Wrap the button in the down position with a small piece of tape. Simple as that. Hopefully this helps anyone with the same problem. Death to the iPod (or more specifically iTunes), ~Oz |
