Hey guys, I sometimes use my X-fi to watch Episodes of Top Gear on my Flatscreen in my room. Its better than watching it on the X-fi or my computer since I have the equipment to do so, but as mentioned in another member's review, doing this drains the battery quite quickly.
The way I do it is that I have my X-fi plugged into my USB wall outlet charger (output at 5V) while im watching my vids. My question is will this compromise the battery? or is it advisable to do this? |

^I have a flatscreen mounted on my wall. It just looks much better watching the top gear trio on a bigger screen.
But thanks for your reply, I feel a little bit more assured. |

You may find a way to put the video signal into your screen. Modern TV screens have a HDMI video input or an analog input which are both connectable to your PC. You can as well use your big screen as a desktop extension / second screen. The input/output possibilities depend on your graphics hardware and your flatscreen.
