Have had this unit for a few years and have had this computer ,which is a laptop with a connected LCD screen, but recently whenever I connect my player the wireless mouse/keyboard freezes and stops working. They are connected by wireless usb device. Plugging in other USB devices does not cause this problem, just the vision m. When I connect the player the laptop's mousepad works fine, just not the usb mouse . As long as the playter is plugged in , if I unplug the mouse's USB cable and plug it back in, the computer says it doesn't recognize the USB device, but if I unplug the player and plug the mouse back in it works fine. The other issue I am having, and maybe it's related somehow, is it's hard to get the player connected; I now have to jiggle to doggle thingy (whatever it's called) that plugs into the bottom of the player. I know it's not the doggle because I have two of them and it happens with both of them

Does the computer recognize your player when you plug it in?
It sounds like there may be a crushed pin in the ZVM's bottom connector where the dongle plugs in, causing a short across the USB data lines. This would explain why everything else on the same bus gets knocked out when you plug in your player. Unfortunately, unless you know someone with a magnifying glass, jewelers' tools, and a really steady hand who can straighten the pin (if it's not crushed completely), this will require mainboard replacement to fix.
