Yes I had the same problem with a freeze up...and I ended up calling tech support.

Hard reset was the solution. Holding down power for atleast 15-20secs.

I've had to use the "WARRNING" to (hopefully) get my Sport to be a good sport. There's also the "Erase internal storage" on the "Settings" menu that helped (Except for the ".fil" files I griped about on a new thread). SO, what I've done is create a "mirror" folder on my HD that I called "Insignia backup" so if I have to trash the internal storage it is easy to rebuild the Sport. Also, if you put those ocasional new songs you find in the 'backup' you can refresh player all at once.
