Default I charged my Zen V Plus for 6 hours and its only half filled. What's going on?

I just got my Zen V Plus. I charged it for six hours (as said in the manual) and it's only just a little more than half full. Should I plug it in again? Is my player defective? Will it harm the battery now that I interupted the charging (I just unplugged it to check progress)?

It may take a little longer to fully charge the player. Just plug it back in, and if it doesn't fully charge, it could be defective. Interupting the charge shouldn't affect the battery.

The initial charge, particularly if charging by USB, could take 12 hours or longer. Just give it time.
