Exclamation Power Surge while my Zen was docked

Okay, so I'll start from the very beginning.
I just got my Zen V+ yesterday, put the software in right away and updated the firmware. No problems and it was fully charged last night.

And today I was adding songs when there was a power surge, and my computer restarted while the Zen was still docked and loading music. Now my Zen is still docked, and the computer does not recognize the device. While I'm afraid to take the zen out because the docked sign is flashing, and i read in the manual not to take it out at that time. Any suggestions? I'd really hate to do any harm to my zen...

That message is for the hard-drive based players only. The instructions for the Zen V (Plus) are here:
Zune HD 32 GB
Creative Zen V Plus 2gb
Sandisk M230
RCA Lyra RD1021
Rio 600 won from Microsoft (back in the day)

If your computer reset while your Zen was docked, you have nothing further to lose by undocking the player. You might have to reset it, boot into Recovery Mode, and do a cleanup, as I'm pretty sure some of your data got corrupted when your computer reset.
