Default Deleting tracks

Can anyone explain to me why my P3 won't let me delete individual tracks? I tick the box and press OK and it tells me that deletion has failed

Thanks

No, it's just a PITA that way - I try and it causes my P3 to reboot. I gave up and just delete music while it's hooked up to the comp.

maybe it is a file that is in use, althogh not playing.

let me guess: you startet this file, stopped and wanted to delete? maybe after a shutdown of the p3? then, i know, the file IS still in use!

solution: start another file (mp3) and try to delete NOW. it should work.

** works with MY p3 ;-) **

kind regards, lee

Nope, I have/had no file playing and it still rebooted. It apparently is a glitch in the software, and there won't be any more firmware updates to correct it (Samsung abandoned the P3, sadly).
