Default P3. How to remove icons

I removed all the widgets and there are icons that I will never use in a billion years. I know I can slide them into another screen but did you see that there is one extra so they can't all fit?

If I wanted junky icons and functions I'll never use in several lifetimes I'd have bought an ipod touch so if anyone could advise how I can remove these irritating little images it would make me much happier.

Thanks

Thanks.

In that case and despite my reading here and several other sites I am now the owner of a piece of unmodifiable junk. Like I said, if I wanted my screen polluted with icon crap I'd have bought an ipod.

Q: I have a mac, should I buy a Samsung P3?
A: No.

Q: I have a mac and Virtualbox running Windows 7, should I buy a Samsung P3?
A: No.

Dear Samsung,
I will never ever spend a single penny again on anything you make.

(Dear reviewers, if those things on screen - because us readers don't know that 'widgets' and 'icons' are different - are not fully removable, please tell us. "Hiding" is not "removing". Thanks).

The P3 is UMS and works theorically on a MAC.
When there are problems, they come from the MAC OS and you find the same problems on a MAC with several other DAPs so it's Apple's fault, not Samsung's

Regarding the icons, you can remove them on the R1 and M1 but not on the P3
I don't know what reviewers you are talking about but if you were French and read my French reviews, you would have known it before buying it

Actually you can remove them via custom UCI.

To give the impression that the P3 is totally unmodifiable is totally and completely incorrect.

And with Firmware 2.20 and the 2.0 SDK you get the same touch navigation. And you can do the static background that the icons only move/change from page to page. I think someone posted on this site, the action script code for that feature.

Anyways, it is possible but takes a little work and adobe flash CS3 or better (CS4).
