Hi!
One of my final concerns before I make the purchase, I think. And that is, whether this thing normalizes/has a normalizer. I'm aware of the difficulty of changing volume while on the move, but I can somewhat put that issue on the backbench if the X-Fi 2 normalizes my songs, so that it won't matter if some of my songs are louder than others when I'm using audio playback. So, does anyone know? ^^ Thanks in advance, -justin |

there is an option labelled as 'Smart Volume'. i believe that is the normaliser for the device audio

![]() I guess it's much less of an issue that you can't control volume with the device in your pocket then, if it is indeed the normalizer. |

the device also have a volume restricter. its quite useful as i just set the volume at level 10/25, so the audio does not suddenly blast into my ear using headphones if i forget to lower the volume after i use the speakers
