Cannot Detect Video files! NEED HELP!

I recently sent my p3 in for repair. they replaced the main board.

Now my p3's region is KR. which is korea.

My p3 can no longer detect RMVB files or MPG files, and i assume other video files as well. I can still play AVI files tho.

Please, does anyone know if i can change the region back to CN?
i think that if a change the region, it should be able to read the video filesagain.

Now my firmware is 2.22 KR Touch 6.D

can anyone help?!

the p3 don´t support mpg files...and what exactly is rmbv..is it real media....if yes...than the p3 don´t supports it....maybe you had a very old firmware on it and mpg and other files were supported these times....but with the newer firmwares it´s not supported....

try the thread for changing p3´s region in the firmware thread...

Its done! i've fixed it.
i've changed the region from KR to CN. thank god.
In KR, i couldnt play real media video files, the memo text wouldnt show, and some chinese characters appeared in korean.

now that i've changed it to the CN using the config.dat (the one available), i can now play real media, and see the memo and no more korean text.

Sorry about the mpg thing, i got mixed up. yeah, it cant play mpg files.
