I need help. I was going to give my Fuze to my mom after i got my S9 so i had to uninstall rockbox but the automatic thing wasn't working properly so i made what might've been a stupid mistake and just decided to delete the .rockbox file and and upload the firmware with what i thought i was supposed to do. so after deleting the rockbox folder i looked for the V2 firmware (and im 90% sure i got the right firmware) and i transferred the .bin file into the root directery and unplugged my sansa and the firmware update message came on. so after it finished i plugged it back in and no matter what usb mode i use, it wont show up under my computer and in device manager it shows up with a yellow ! mark in a triangle. i tried updating the driver and all sorts of stuff, i really dont want the fuze to go to waste. any help is greatly appreciated

thank you so much i tried it and after a few failed attempts i plugged it in and the root directory popped right up! the only bad part is that every time i unplug it it gets stuck on the 'writing' screen and i have to hold the power button but thats no biggy i can deal with it. Thanks again saratoga!
Edit: Nevermind i think the freeze up upon disconnecting was because i had an sd card in there (two portable devices came up when it was plugged in) so i took it out and it didn't lock up on me when i unplugged it |
