You boost the bass and treble, and leave the midrange alone. Or, you lower the midrange and leave the bass and treble alone.

now with a rockboxed Clip+, how does one go about achieving these?
I know the bass and treble functions, but i am sure it is not that easy? could someone divulge? thanks |

Using only the bass and treble functions of Rockbox will give you indeed a V (or U, whatever) shaped EQ. The fully parametric EQ is probably too complicated to use for a beginner, the bass and treble settings are just fine.
