Sony NWZ-S746 - Recieved today, a few impressions & some pics

hi people im from malaysia and had bought s746 from the seller mentioned by you guys. im sure its not a fake walkman as some of you said. as walkmans are made in malaysia maybe he has the access to get the stocks. anyways mine do have a walkman logo at the bottom right.

Both are Malaysian Ringgit.

RM is the currency sign of the Malaysian ringgit, the currency of Malaysia (its ISO 4217 code is MYR)

if real or not real that is not the point, a warranty of 1 week and aspects of the model not adding up to being a legit product should hint to stay away from the product. besides at the price stated, I'd be surprised if it lasts even a year.

I maybe wrong but i've had dealings with China for the past 3 -4 years importing clothing and I've had opportunities to purchase fake electronics have never seen anything of this quality.

If this is fake then its been made using all the genuine parts (outer at least) and the OS is spot on except for the odd Japanese menu.

I'm more inclined to think this a factory second if anything but I don't know, I will try and find out more answers from the Malaysian seller when he/she replies.

i might interested in getting this myself ..i do think it made from sony but it must have failed production quality control hence the one month warranty..i have sent the seller an email lets see if i get a response

err why would a company like sony sell such units? it goes without saying, not their style.

it would be like bmw selling their cars with badges missing, cheapo wheels, poor features, and a 1 month warranty.

If I had extra cash lying around I'd get it to just crack this sucker open to see what is inside it ;P

No sony will never sell a product that has not passed quality control, those players are destined for the bin, that explains why there is no serial nos printed on the unit girothefiro bought... somebody has gotten hold of them and decided to make a quick buck...i am just as curious as you to find out whats inside of these units

mine is not black. its blue. i doubt there is any fake sony mp3 player that produce sound quality as good as the one i bought from the forum. its really good

I never did as its feature I don't use and i've sent the device back for a refund.

I'm going to buy a s639f instead as there are still a few new ones laying around on ebay and they don't have the low volume output if i'm correct?
