Default I can't delete a music file

Hi.

I searched for this with no luck. I have a .wav file stuck in my i9. I've tried renaming it first - no luck. It seems to delete OK but when I close and then reopen the appropriate folder - there it is. I've also tried deleting it in the Cowon Media Centre.

It started off as an incompatible file (recorded at 24bit) but now seems to be zero size (perhaps because the i9 can't read it properly)

Is this a known problem? Any solution? I'm using 1.14 software.

Thanks.

Never mind.

I managed to delete it from within the i9 itself, rather than using a connected PC. Curious.

Just a guess, but maybe updating the database would solve such an issue as well?

Thanks. This problem is now solved but I'm curious - what do you mean by "updating the database"?

Thanks.

There should be an "update database" option in the player's system settings, which usually clears out such "ghost" files.
