Hey guys, this might be a stupid question, but please forgive me D:
I'm stupid when it comes to stuff like this. Anywho, I'll keep it brief~ I was wondering what I could do for Rockbox to read my Korean song files. I mean, it works on the OF perfectly. All the song titles, artists names, all show up in Korean ![]() In Rockbox, however, Korean only shows up for the text in the database, file browser, etc. Can anyone explain or direct me to an already existing post on this topic? Please and thanks

Use a font that supports korean letters (unifont does, probably some others), and make sure you tags are actually in unicode.

Well, I checked the Rockbox site, and I found that Fixed - 13 font displays Korean for menus and such. However, the Korean for the song titles and whatnot didn't show. How do I make the tags unicode?
Is there a way to do it immediately and for all 1000+ of my songs? |

Load the files in some tagger that supports unicode, and then rewrite the tags. Try foobar2000. I've never done this, but it generally does the "right" thing when writing tags (unlike a lot of software).

Haha, thanks for your help, but I'm really confused about all of this XD
It's weird 'cause the OF actually shows all of the Korean text. I'm hopelessly lost... Rockbox is great though~ |
