MP3 ReplayGain/Mp3Gain
What kind of support does Rockbox on the Fuze have for volume normalization via either ReplayGain or Mp3Gain tags?
If there is support, what are the tagging requirements? Does it use/require values from TXXX ID3v2 tags, APEv2, gain values in LAME tags, etc?

Rockbox Replaygain works with both ID3 approaches, Foobar TXXX tags and LAME/Vorbis tags (such as written by Winamp, dBpoweramp, etc).
I think APE tags are only used by MP3Gain as an undo-option anyways, since the file loudness gets altered physically. The player doesn't have to understand those, since the files are all equally gain-adjusted already. However I have no personal experience with that.
