i like these applications, the calculette and the notepad are awesome but the only problem is the calculette doesn't use ''math rules'',
example: 100 - 4*25 = 2400 (wrong answer) while 100 - 4*25 = 0 (good answer) here is a site containing several ''math rules'': http://mathrules.net/id1.html http://www.mathrules.net/sitebuilder...basicrules.pdf as for the 100-4*25 example there is a order of operations, * or / goes first on - or + http://www.mathrules.net/sitebuilder...operations.pps the easiest way to fix these problems (i guess) is to use ( and ) signs in your calculator, as a proper calculator will always calculate the part between (..) first. so my example will look like this: 100- (4*25) = 0 it might be hard to fix this but seen you've already created a working calculator adding those ''math rules'' shouldn't be that hard for you. il use it anyways ![]() i hope this was some good information Gl.
