FM Radio won't pick up any channels

I have it set to USA, I tried to change the regions. That didn't help. I have my headphones plugged in but it still won't pick up any channels. Am I doing something wrong or is this thing defective?

Maybe I should reinstall the firmware or something? I don't know if it's a glitch or what. I don't usually use the radio but I wanted to hear some Christmas music without having to download.

Change the FM Sensitivity

Try manual tuning in place of auto tuning.
Try setting channel in open area (not in some basement).

Auto preset wont pick up channels if signal strength is poor. Signal strength can depend on current location and headphones, so try another location or another headphones

I did what others suggested in here. Also I fiddled with the "antennae" i.e. the headphones. If you jiggle the part by the jack a bit the reception comes in better.
