Default Cowon D3 a worthy successor to D2?
Personally, I think if Cowon keep all the fundamentally good aspects of the original D2 (audio quality, battery life, BBE, sd card integration etc..) and add some bonus features such as android and web browser, I think they might be onto a winner. Just my 2 cents

I couldn't say for sure really, no one can. We will just have to wait for the D3 to actually be released.

I'm pretty sure that this D3 will be a perfect replacement for my Sansa clip + which replaced my broken S9 !
Waiting for it to come will be so hard...

The Cowon D3 Plenue is on the Cowon website !
Looks really good but 21h hours autonomy on audio sounds like a fail

Definitely looking forward to the D3. The battery life is disappointing but thats probably a side effect of using android. I am just glad that there is an android device with hardware buttons for track control. Finally. I cant think of one other device with them.

I'll be buying this. I'd have preferred a smaller screen though. The j3 is a perfect size for a mp3 player.

I would like to see an updated version of the D2+ with HD radio and SDXC card support. There are so many posts on ABI by people seeking a flash based player with over 64 GB of storage.

tech specs claim it can playback mkv, and H.264. At the same time, 1080p with a triple asterisk disclaimer, wonder if anyone can translate the disclaimers at the bottom, that will be great...ogg support for video will be great but no ac3 or aac....?
