Default MS Help article now online relating to WP7 updates...getting closer!

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2484484

Hopefully the first WP7 update is almost here!

Interesting:
"If you restore an earlier version, you'll lose all changes that you made since the restore point, including apps you've installed, music you've downloaded, and settings you've changed."

Bring on full user controlled backup and restore of my WP7 handset!!!

(still waiting on whether you can restore an 8GB image/backup onto a 16GB Foucs - after adding microSD expansion....http://preview.tinyurl.com/4z7uvrr )

Honestly, I'm lookkng forward t this big time. I'm an Android guy, but I want to see how Microsoft is planning on launching their updates. I hope for their sake, ad hopefully Androids I they pay attention, that the entire process is streamlined and easy for all users to access on day 1. If not, then a network rollout over a couple of days is another good alternative, again as long as done immediately.

Yeah - I'm betting this is going to just work...as seemlessly and smoothly as the WP7 does most tasks... That's why I don't mind a *reasonable* time for MS to get everything right.

By reasonable - I mean early to mid FEB works for me. Pushing March - now that's too late. MS have a whole different set of expectations here with WP7 vs. say the ZuneHD free apps and firmware update release schedules.

Improvements, fixes and evolution in general is going to be demanded from WP7 customer's. The bar will keep getting higher, and we all hope MS will keep delivering. Base product is great - but we want MS to delight us... I think they will.
