Some markets charged intn'l credit card fees for WP7 App purchases - Aus fixed
Since the Marketplace launched in Australia for WP7, some users have been charged international transaction fees on Marketplace app purchases. The issue seemed to relate to certain banks/accounts - and came about because MS did not have a local payment facilities in some countries (Aus for eg).
Microsoft has since fixed the issue with a new local credit card transaction centre. Report here: http://www.istartedsomething.com/201...e-7-purchases/ I personally wasn't affected - and this has done nothing to address the significant regional $ surcharge we incur for Apps here vs US quoted rates (parity plus Aussie dollar anyone?) ...
