2.2 or 2.3 on it should speed it up. I like Cowon enough to believe they'll keep updating the D3 until it gets J3-quality reviews.

Read this thread w/a serious user review on the D3 - it's still a work in progress: Cowon D3 - The (unfortunate) review

I still want it, but I'll wait till it's a full fledged player that functions correctly. Just the fact that it rebuilds the media library upon EVERY boot is a no-no,...my Android devices only did that after a comp sync, not on every boot/re-boot.

I don't suppose anyone knows a link to where the D3 user manual can be found in English? I've looked on Cowonglobal.com. Manuals for everything but the D3.

i don't think it has been released yet. you could ask the guys on the forum who already own it. maybe there's an english manual on the software disc.

Anyone know if its supports PDFs?
And I'm not familiar with Android, does that mean it can access the Android store?

You can install a PDF reader for Android easily.

AMP3 seems to have the D3 available in the UK right now. Wish I was still excited about it...
