I just got my fuse, and it locks up when it comes to certain mp3's, and I have to restart it to get it to do anything. I am not sure if this is because of DRM or what.

Heya, welcome to ABi...
- get something like mp3tag to check the ID3 tag info on your mp3 http://www.mp3tag.de/en/ Keep in mind that Sandis players prefer/need ID3v2 tags, specifially ID3v2.3-ISO-8859-1 format. If tags are fine, then check your mp3 files for integrity/corruption - get foobar and install the File Integrity Verifier plugin I would start there... cheers and good luck, -les

Can you format the player and start over with ONLY non-DRM files? What have YOU done to try to diagnose this problem? I ask this because in over 2 years of Fuze ownership, and longer of Clip ownership, I do not recall having this problem. So, I have no experience at guessing what might be the problem. Ofcourse, none of my files are DRM. Steve |
