Just performed this swap. Very easy to complete, took me about 30 minutes with a steak knife as my only tool...

My E270 (Bricked on ebay for $12) now has the memory out of my E280, thank you for the simple instructions!

Are there V1 and V2 versions of the E200R ? I can get a broke e200 for next to nothing. Will the memory fit into a E250V1? Haven't found a definitive answer yet. Thanks.

No, the e200R is a firmware version for the e200v1.

Thanks for you quick response. It looks like I should be able to pull the memory board from a broken E280R and and put it in my E250V1.
