Hi there,
Was thinking of purchasing the X7, as I want an MP3 player with large storage capability and this appears to be the most suitable. Just wondering if this can be somehow attached to a docking station or how do people use it when not on the move. Thanks in advance |

There's no docking station for it, but you can attach it to any amp or powered speakers with a standard 3.5mm-to-RCA cable, or similar.

I just want to add that it doesn't need to be connected to a computer to recharge. Out of the box it is supplied with an external charger.

Thanks for the quick response. Just wondering if there's a way of connecting it to the likes of the Bose Sound dock. Obviously I'm a real novice in this field.

If the Bose has an input for a minijack, then all you need to do is get a minijack to minijack cable and connect the X7 (or any MP3 player) headphone output to the input socket of the Bose and you are away. I don't have a Bose dock, but it may be that its input is not a minijack but 2 phono sockets, in which case you need a minijack to 2 phono, cable. They only cost under £5. Or you could go further and buy a bluettoth receiver which you can connect to the Bose and play from the X7 wirelessly. Bluetooth does lose a fraction of sound quality but I can't tell the difference...what with my ears being decades old.
