hi...
i tried to forward to another video on my d3, but video is now stuck in frame and it won't respond to anything. it's just stuck and becoming warmer and warmer. is there any way to hard reset? i'm worried. please advise... Mixhael. |

apparently there's a reset hole on the back of the D3.

Same thing happened to me. Stick a paper clip into the reset hole at the back.

mine is happened while playing music. I've tried the reset for about 10 seconds and the player still stuck, damn!so what I've done was leave my D3 until it turn off itself and recharge it all over again.

are you sure that you pushed the reset button all the way? When you press the reset button you should hear a click. I am guessing that the D3 just cuts the power to the device or something meaning that you possibly may have not pressed the reset button. But yeah, there is a TINY hole in the bottom right corner of the D3 when you are looking at it from behind, it is below the speaker. You will need something thin e.g. safety pin and I make an effort to carry one around in my wallet since the D3 does tend to run into problems at times...

yeah...I was making a mistake there...I didn't pushed it harder because I thought it would spoil the hardware inside....so finally I've tried using toothpick until I heard a click and thank God it works....
