As you are the Iaudio Moderator, how would you rate the Fuze compared to the X5?

Being a tightwad myself, and guessing that there are a few others out there who nonetheless appreciate good sound to some degree, I wanted to offer that I can readily hear the better sound quality of the Fuze, through $30 street price (heavily discounted) in-ear phones, unamped.
While a very recent purchase, I really like the little thing. |

I'm no golden ears, but i have mixed sound for live rock bands and installed car stereos for a living and have about a $10k Stereo system in my house, and I am very pleased with the sound I get from first the Clip and now a Fuze. I'm new to MP3 players and I am amazed at the sound quality that comes out of such a small box. I have only had the fuze for 2 days but so far I am very pleased with it.

My brother got the Sansa Fuze MP3 player for Christmas and he is having a hard time getting it to play with his new home theatre system. He has the LG LHT 854 home theatre system. When he plugs the fuze into the USB port and selects USB it says searching than no data found. While hooked into the USB port the fuze says connected but he can not do anything from there. Any suggestions for this? Thanks

Did you put the song on to the Sansa via MSC mode? From what I am reading, that home theatre system will not work with MTP mode devices.

one tip, make sure the phones get fully pluged in, the plugs a bit tight at first and this can lead to it not being pluged in properly(thus bad sound quility)
I have a question, has anybody tested how long the fuze lasts using ogg files? I use ogg over MP3 because per bitrate aoTuV 5.7 sounds better, specly for audio books ![]() I would like to see them add Musepack(mpc) support since sv8 is now out and it could lead to better batt life(mpc take less power to decode then mp3 even) |

The line-out still doesn't work with Rockbox in the V2 Fuze, only the V1 Fuze....but you really don't need it, the headphone-out works just fine.

Hi everyone,
Is it possible to restore complete version of Fuze review because mine is breaking on Audiobooks section. I am really looking foward to buy it (low prices on my local store) so final conclusions will be very helpful. Thank you |
