And It made me wonder if I could use it to replace the HDD in my H340... The H340s are getting on these days but I still use mine regularly. I wouldn't mind replacing the drive with something with no moving parts, to get rid of hdd noises when recording via the built-in mic...
I know people have done SSD/CompactFlash conversions, but is there any reason using one of these SDHC adapters wouldn't work? SDHC tends to be cheaper than CF, and more devices accept SDHC, so if the iRiver were to die tomorrow, the card would still be of use to me.
I haven't had a good google yet, but if there were adapters that accepted more than 32GB (does that only only say 32GB because it was the biggest available when it was made?) then that'd be handy. Hell, I could maybe even cut a hole in the bottom of the H340 to allow changing the SD cards over without opening the case...
