Zen Mx not turning on or charging

Hey,
I have a problem with my Zen Mx. I can't turn it on and when i connect it to the pc or try to charge it in the socket, the batteryimage appears on the screen. Sometimes it flashes and if i press a button the Creative Logo pops up for a second follow by the battery again.
The Player is not recognized by the pc or the creative ceantrale.
