Crashed; Re-installed; Now can't transfer

Over the weekend my trusty Creative Zen V went into recovery mode. I reinstalled the firmware, and it boots to the regular options without any problem.

But, I can't transfer podcasts from PC to Zen using either the Zencast software or the Zen V series Media Explorer. This is on true on both my desktop and laptop. I am positive I have the latest versions of the firmware, the Zencast program and the media explorer. When attempting to transfer, I simply get a non-descriptive error message. I was, however, able to transfer Contacts to the Zen using the Media Explorer. Just can't transfer podcasts.

Its odd. Ideas anyone?
