i donīt want to convert them because i donīt want to spend time on things i donīt need to do.... itīs easier to put them on my p3 than to convert them in "whatever format" but why does samsung says the p3 plays wav and it doesnīt ???

No, this format is not officially supported by the P3.
I don't know where you read it plays WAV files but it's just a mistake.

Both the abi review and the samsung page say that the P3 plays WAV files.

Actually WAV is not officially supported because some WAV files work (I tried several ones) and others won't.
Maybe that doesn't change anything for you but that changes many things for Samsung, particularly for the Quality department.

In the time it took you to write that you could have converted about 5 WAV files.
