Default 32gb walkman ?
is there a non-touch 32gb Walkman out there anywhere? I have the NWZ-S545 and fill up 16GB instantly. I'm tired of only keeping part of my collection on my walkman.

I can't seem to find one - any rumors of a larger capacity version coming out some day?

Well that certainly stinks, I absolutely love Sony Walkman's (non-touch), I just wish the E or S Series came with a larger amount of storage - like 32 GB!

I don't see any rumors about one coming along either, so I'll have to just pick and choose what I copy to my Walkman.

Oh well.

Or go like me :-) an Apple iPod.... I got tired of sony not releasing par with 64Gbs or more (a Hard drive player), so my next replacement for my X series is a 160GB classic

Well, the cost of that amount of flash memory isn't cheap, so they must think that no one wants to pay for it.

But then, if you slap an Apple logo on it and charge twice as much as a comparable device, people will go bankrupt getting them. Go figure.

They do in the UK, though pretty rare, think Sony have stopped stocking them, not listed on the UK site any more anyway

Exactly what I'm looking for!

Now, if only us Yankees could get our hands on one, I'd be all set. I'll never understand Sony's marketing strategy. If they can sell this 32Gb version over in the mother country, why can't they sell it here?!

it is still on advanced mp3 players, but it is on back order and at 189 pounds it is not a bad price, the 64 GB model is also still available.

Don't forget, if you order a Walkman from Europe it's got the EU volume restriction - the ONLY reason I don't own a 32gb or 64gb Walkman myself. They don't power full sized hp's all that well,...

I'm sure you could order an international version of the A846 online from Asia-Pac. I'm pretty sure my A846 doesn't have a volume restriction.

The A840 series is rare but indeed still on sale officially here.
