My 30GB ZV:M has worked well since late '06. The only problems I've had were the typical issue with the file table getting corrupt. The problem is nothing a quick format couldn't fix. Reload music and videos back in business. I keep all my music and videos backed up to two different computers running Win7 and Creative software.
The HD in mine is the Toshiba 30GB with pins. I'm thinking about the Compact Flash mod or upgrade it to a larger drive when it fails. It still has factory battery and still plays music for 5-6 hours per charge with it locked and display off.

ive got the 60gb slim line model which i though would pack in after a couple years but its still going strong, ive never had to upload anything again on mine suprisingly, ive only had to reset it a few times.
I know loads of people with i pod but they never make it past the 3 year mark. |

I bought mine after much discussion over here itself
around May 2007. It gets awesome-er by the day though I might need to change its battery since I get only around 4-5 hours with the screen turned off.Never had an issue with it so far
