Default Using X-Fi without screen

Howdy folks
After a fairly messy party I woke up to find my X-FI screen fogged up and the player not working. Performed open heart surgery on the little fella, got it working but screen didn't make it through.

I've found i can still play music but without a screen its difficult to acess.

Would anyone be kind enough to talk me through the sequence of button presses needed to play all your mp3 collection from the main list?

I presume pressing the back button(top right) enough times would take it to a common start point.

Thanks a lot for you help!

Slarty

Heh, lets assume you haven't edited your menus...

For the 9-button pad I'll name the buttons 1-9, "1" on the top left, "9" on the bottom right (like a phone).

Hold the back button down to get to the main menu, now press...
1 - 8 - 5 - 7 - 5 - 8 - 5

That's...
Home - Down - Select - End - Select - Down - Select

Heh... this is kinda fun, that's weird.

To revert your menu to default... Actually, there may not be a default set of presses to use to reset the menu.
OK, do this...
First press and hold the Back button to get to the main menu. Then repeat the following until the speaker switches on (or off)
Press Menu, Down (8), then press Select (5)
If the speaker doesn't switch hit the back button and do the above again.
When the speaker switches press Menu again, then...
2 - 5 - 2 - 5
Up - Select - Up - Select

Well i'd rather suggest you get it repaired.

This can be one tedious process.

Once if you forget if you're in the right order, you would have to restart.

Also there is a risk of deleting files as well.

Man, that must suck to not have a screen. You could set your shortcut button to be random play all... Assuming your shortcut button is still set to the default "X-Fi Setting", all you have to do to set it to function as a random play all is to push and hold your shortcut button for a few seconds, press down 4 times and then select (center) and thats it.

Sorry for bringing up an old thread - Shortcut button to random play all is nice, but how about setting it to play a random album (Album of the day)?
