XDA does it again. They have successfully gotten Mango to run on the HTC HD2.
They also got an optional sideloading working as well. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1157535 Microsoft has responded to their hacking, and their response is interesting. Nonetheless, if you have a HD2, do it at your own risk because you will void your warranty. |

MS have nothing to gain by getting all high-mighty over hackers playing around with WP7 / Mango.
They already set a precedent with the ChevronWP7 team....and besides, they know the hacker and enthusiast market are important - and frankly need everyone they can in their corner at the moment. Boy do Nokia need WP7 and how WP7 needs Nokia!!! Symbiotic (minus the symbion) relationship! lol
