Help: player stays at rebuilding after importing videos

Hi guys,

I've got an 'awful' problem, and I don't hope that it's normal for a ZEN X-Fi2.
My problem is, that if I've put over 4 videos at once on my player, it stays at the screen 'rebuilding' when I turn on my player. Also when I've got more than 10 videos on my X-Fi2, the screen stays at rebuilding.
In both cases the player just 'shuts down' after it stays on the screen 'rebuilding' for 5 minutes.

I really hope that someone can help me with this problem!

Not sure, you can try a clean up. just hold the home button when the zen is starting up.

Are the files very large? We have encountered rebuilding issues with large files on the player. It usually just takes longer than usual to boot it, it doesn't shut off. Maybe you have idle shut down set to 5 minutes and it still registers it as "idle"? You can try that if above posters idea doesn't work.

Well, the files aren't like very long videos. (About 20 minutes). But if I put videos many videos with small sizes on the player, the same happens, the player eventually shuts down after 5 minutes in the process 'rebuilding'.

And you made sure to turn off idle shutdown or touch it occasionally to prevent it? If so then I'm stumped, did you try to do whats in the sticky "How to fix most problems..."?
