What is the proper procedure to completely wipe everything off my Sansa?

And it ran very poorly. I don't think I would trust it to do something like this. It hardly was capable of restoring my nearly bricked e260. And that was on a platform that was pretty old (so there was a good amount of time to try to dev something stable). Long story short, I wouldn't get my hopes up.
