P3 boots halfway & then just buzzes - ideas for fix?

After deleting a file & getting the usual spontaneous reboot, my P3 now boots halfway & then just buzzes. It shows the P3 splash & the devicename I gave it but cannot connect via USB or finish booting. Contacted Samsung support & of course there is no hard reset.

Thanks for any ideas. Repair/swap cost is $55 & probably worth it. I'm going to tear it apart first once I find a tiny screwdriver....

-Dont tear it apart i think its not a Hardware Problem
-You Could try the FWDN tool by lebellium (http://www.anythingbutipod.com/forum...=touch+version) but it is dangerous (could burn your motherboard)
-or just act politely and send it Samsung :P

I had the absolutely the same problem, in service center they told me that the main board has to be replaced, but as now fwdn is avaliable,so i suggest to try it and anyway, even if you damage the board there is no sense to replace it, as it will be cheaper to buy new cowon j3. I still have my old board but fwdn is not able bring it back to live, because borad is always in the recovery mode after service center.
And finally, there is no need to dissasembly your p3, as you won't be able to find the real problem, even at samsung they won't test board via jtag, they will just replace it.
