Sorry folks - had a busy week...More WP7 news posts coming soon!
Hey all,
Apologies for the lag in WP7 news posts here. It's been a pretty chaotic week or so for me - as I finish up my day job this Friday, having been made redundant after 19 years at the same company! So - expecting to get back on the news posts and my own site updates in the next 24 hours.... There's been a lot happening; WP7 Mango announced as being <2 weeks from official release. Some markets confirming roll-outs in this coming week, new handsets hitting, Pre-approval of Mango by most major carriers behind the scenes with MS BEFORE they hit the button and a service guarantee from AT&T to be amongst the first in the world to roll it out! Going to be a big couple of weeks for WP7!  L8r everyone. Sheeds.

What are you looking at doing now? Are you going to focus on building up your sites following, or look for another 9-5? Either way, good luck!!

hahaha and tnx I have three distinct options ahead of me now. I worked all my career in the Steel industry - so maybe change to an IT field - or have a crack at a business idea I have and try working for myself if I can get it to market.... Definately want to keep my site going as well - but that has not been monetised and will not feed my wife or 3 kids (all boys at elementary school - we call it Primary school).... Luckily the Australian awards (working conditions) mean that you get decent redundancy payouts for long-service, and I am not in any imminent strife! I feel more for you States-side folks, with how tough conditions must be over there (double-digit unemployment, zero interest rates and recessions/no growth). Thanks for the well wishes though It all helps as you go through that natural emotional rollercoaster ride!l8r
