Returning from WPS to database/artist

I have a problem with my Rockboxed Clip+. I start my clip in WPS mode, when I press select to select another song, it goes to the parent directory of files. I don't use the file option, only database.

Now I have to go back from the files menu to database, then select artist, then album and then song. It takes too much time to select another song. Especially when I am in the car. The stock implementation is better.

What I want, is that when I press select, it goes directly to the database --> %current artist% --> %selected album% --> songs. Is this possible?

I couldn't find the option in the manual. Thank you.

AOL - err, me too.

Currently the "link" to the database gets lost once you power down the player. Slightly annoying, that's true.

Does anyone know the solution?

If there's currently no set of keypresses that do it now the solution is to edit the source code and compile yourself a build that has that setting.
