I ask this question because i just finished reading an article on androidauthority.com. They showed all of the new features that ICS will have that maybe old phones wont be able to use and if it can it wont be that good. What do you think? Now while i doubt the SGS Player will get any Official love from samsung maybe in due time when the source code for ICS is released Cyanogen mod will maybe support the SGS player.

I think it's enough and I don't know if this applies to "players" too like this one but manufacturers that are in the Update Alliance must (should?) keep updating their products for 18 months.
If it's mandatory the SGP will be updated to ICS. |

Samsung has been known to take it's time to push updates to it's mobile android devices.
