Default Compare P3 vs. GP4/5?
Can anyone here who already have the GPs 4 or 5 compare them with the P3? For example, while playing videos, can we get the various sound effects like Auditorium etc? Can they display lyrics? Can we make custom EQs? Can they make a BT connection to mobile phone and make calls thru that? How's the SQ vs P3? etc etc.

My SGS2 phone is missing some of the P3's features and it cannot play .svi files natively, so I was wondering...

Yeah, I know there's a http://www.anythingbutipod.com/compare, but can't wait, they might never be compared at all

Having used a P3 and now a 4.0, I can say that the 4.0 can do all the P3 can, and more.

A little thing that annoys me is when you turn off the player, it doesn't remember the track you were on, so you have to put it in stand-by.

They can display lyrics if they are part of the mp3 file.

It has a bluetooth function. I haven't tried pairing it up with a mobile yet, but I believe it's possible...

No using the 4.0 or 5.0 to make or receive calls when paired to your phone. They will pair, but there is no phone mobile option in the settings like the P2 and P3 have.

Default FM recording?
P3 can do FM recording, can these do it out of the b
ox?
Can they play .tts files without the help of additional apps?

No FM recording that I have found in the 4.0 and 5.0. Samsung has to play nice with Android and such things bug the music industry. Back when their media player dept was seperate from their mobile dept., no one seemed to care or notice and they weren't sold in great numbers in the U.S..

Haven't looked into TTS yet, but android itself has some of that capability built-in.

Are you sure? Have you tested it? Because my SGS2 doesn't do it, and there's no option for lyrics display.

So is Android restrictive? Is that the reason why I also cannot record phone calls with my SGS2? (And they call these smartphones )

What about sound effects while playing videos-do these players have that?
