Contacts sync?

How can I synchronize my contacts with the Creative Centrale and tasks with the X-Fi 2? I find music, video and images in Creative Centrale and nothing more.

You need Windows Contacts and Outlook for the tasks, really stupid thing really and quite useless without those two softwares on your PC.

The PIM (personal information manger) on Creative devices is a FREE bonus feature. You need Microsoft Outlook on your computer to use it.

The X-fi2 is a $100USD PMP, not an $800USD tablet computer. Don't expect the PIM to work with every program and OS out there. If you have Outlook and can use the Creative PIM, fine, it's a bonus. If you can't use the Creative PIM you still have an excellent PMP, you have lost nothing.
I used the Creative PIM exclusively for about four years. I found it to be very useful, especially considering it was a "free" feature on an PMP.

Before I bought my Archos 43 I used the Creative PIM a lot. Now, I use use igoogle on my computer and my Archos 43 to synch contacts, calendar and tasks.

I can agree with this, you can't expect it to sync contacts with everything. What I meant in my comment about it being useless without those two softwares is just that you can't even ADD a contact to use the list Stand-alone without syncing. And THAT is my definition of "useless without X".
